Mission Statement

We believe that the Olof Ohman farm, now known as the Kensington Rune Stone Park, is the most important place associated with the Kensington Rune Stone. Visits to the Ohman home were key elements in the early research and scrutiny of the Rune Stone and had a profound effect on the culture of the surrounding community.

The park is located at 8965 Co. Rd. 103 SW in Solem Township of Douglas County, Minnesota. From Alexandria, it is west on State Highway 27, approximately 14 miles to County Highway 103. Turn left, and go 1.5 miles south on Highway 103. The park entrance road is on the left.
